Texas continues to outpace the rest of the nation in the economic and housing sector rebound.
"We are anticipating a better performance here in 2012, more like a 15 percent increase in home starts," said Ted Wilson, a housing analyst with Dallas-based Residential Strategies. "While that sounds bullish, in real numbers that would take D-FW from about 14,000 units to a little over 16,000 so about a 2,000-unit increase." |
